Episode 75: 18th July 2019

Novak Djokovic, self assessment, moon landings and project management feature alongside pyramids, blog writing and advertising this week.

This week, in a pre-recorded interview we take some professional advice with regard to self assessment taxation from Alison Ensor of Foremans LLP in Wrexham. Alison gives us the nudge we need to make sure we don’t miss any key deadlines with HMRC.

In other news Heather takes a look at the Advertising Standards Authority (www.asa.org.uk) and a couple of reprimands they have ruled on for Aldi and Dyson in recent days. Tracy on the other hand takes to the skies to pose the question ”What has space travel ever done for us?”, and, as she finds out, the answer is quite a lot.

In our discovery section Tracy shares her thoughts on The Project Manager and The Pyramid by David Hinde while Heather signposts a website for any bloggers suffering from writer’s block answerthepublic.com.

And finally, it has been almost impossible to avoid sport in the UK over the past few weeks and so we thought we would take a look at the winner of the Men’s Singles title at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic to find out not only how much is he worth but what he does with his money. We unearthed rather more than we anticipated for the Serbia born tennis master.
