Microchipping your staff, the 2018 John Lewis advert and lots of tears mixed in with former CEO of Pepsico Indra Nooyi.
In the world of GDPR and data breaches, have you ever wondered what would come next with biometric access? Well it seems that micro-chipping staff is actually becoming a thing of the present day…
Talking of presents, the annually awaited John Lewis advert has hit the screens and not a dry eye was left in the house. Mix that with the recent Iceland advert which has enjoyed multiple views despite not being aired on TV along with the latest blockbuster from iZettle we’ve gone all Gogglebox this week.
As usual we have a fab mix of events for you to check out:
Our review this week is of a little black book published in 2017 but cram packed full of ideas on how to make the best decisions. The Decision Book by Mikael Krogerous and Roman Tschappeler is small but perfectly formed.
Finally, our Guru for this week is former CEO of Pepsico and all round Superwoman, Indra Nooyi. One of the World’s Most Powerful Women and keen cricketer.
Here are a couple of quotes from Ms Nooyi’s career that we particularly like:
”Leadership is hard to define and good leadership even harder. But, if you can get people to follow you to the end of the earth you are a great leader.”
“Be lifelong students. Our world is changing rapidly all around us, and if you want to continue to thrive in the years ahead, you’ll need to continually educate yourself.”
