Episode 9 and we’re celebrating – HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY to Calon FM!
We kicked off the show with a discussion about The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For list which has just been published.

This week, Tracy recommended the Companies House website which contains a whole load of interesting stuff including a company name availability checker.

Chatting about books today gave us a giggle – The Peter Principle (amusing-ish?) and The Dilbert Principle (actually funny) – both were scarily accurate about the idea that managers rise to their own level of their incompetence.
The guru spotlight was turned towards Tony Robbins this week and we finished the show with a couple of quotes from him:
“What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.”
“If you’re in your head, you’re dead.”
