Episode 73: 27th June 2019

Leadership, forbidden software, international spies and moonpig.com feature this week along with the accounts of Glastonbury and Wimbledon Festivals.

What makes a good leader and are all leaders good? This week we pose the questions of what leadership means and how it differs from management. We also signpost some great resources on the subject which are freely available to all.

Business Balls, ACAS and CIPD give us some guidance as does Forbes and this article in The Guardian.

In other news we take a look at some statistics released by the ONS regarding population growth and spend some time checking out the monopoly money numbers associated with Glastonbury Festival and Wimbledon Tennis Tournament, all taking place over the next week or so.

A couple of interesting podcasts discovered by Tracy this week include the CIPD Podcast and one hosted by Lawrence Jones, CEO of UKFast and Heather gets very excited about the IAT Unconscious Bias test from Harvard.

And finally, our business person of note this week is Russian literature aficionado, canny business man and self made millionaire Nick Jenkins, founder of moonpig.com.
