Episode 52: 24th January 2019

Business uncertainty, a brief mention of the B word, Motivation Myths and business magnate Rupert Murdoch.

Until now we have managed to avoid the whole Brexit situation but there is no denying the sense of uncertainty it brings to us all. We take time to take stock and think about how we can manage the destabilising impact on business.

Our book review this week takes a look at Motivation and whether it is something we can do to ourselves or is it something that comes from within? The Motivation Myth by Jeff Haden gives us a different way of thinking.

One of the most powerful men on the planet or not? Rupert Murdoch, love him or loathe him, has multiple channels of communication at his disposal and has used them all to build a massive financial wealth. We spend a little time thinking about how he has achieved his success.
