Episode 50: 10th January 2019

Vegan sausage rolls, self assessment, company registration, app charts & John J Sainsbury keep us talking this week.

In the week that high street bakery Greggs publish a video about their vegan sausage roll  (not even their first vegan offering) we consider how smart use of social media and digital publicity can raise awareness and profile for even the most unpredictable news item.

A quick reminder that self assessment tax returns are due by the 31st January and the new one stop shop company registration service for Companies House and HMRC  notifications.

In a world where you can pretty much get an App for anything we stumbled across a list of the top apps of 2018 issued by Apple. As they are the leading app providers we thought we’d take a look and see what they had to say.

Leading supermarket Sainsbury’s is known to us all today and this week we take a look at Mr John J Sainsbury and the story of the business transition from counter service to self service shopping.
