Episode 10: 8th March 2018

It’s International Women’s Day (IWD) and we started Episode 10 talking about the values that guide IWD and the campaign theme #PressForProgress, and then touched on the Global Fund for Women and the TEDTalk by Leila Hoteit.

Events featured today include a review of the Swayne Johnson GDPR workshop attended by Tracy plus:

Microsoft To Do is the app under the spotlight over the next few weeks. We’re also thinking about the value of encrypted emails and trialling the RPost plugin with GDPR in mind.

Back to International Women’s Day, Heather recommended Women In Business website, the Women in Business Network and the Best Business Women Awards.

The awesome Dame Stephanie ‘Steve’ Shirley is our hero and totally appropriate to be featured on International Women’s Day. Buy her book, Let It Go, watch her TedTalk and be inspired by her as we are.

“You can always tell ambitious women from the shape of their heads. They are flat on top from being patted patronisingly.”

“Nothing now can ever come to any good.”
